1-General Measure
(a) Drink warm water throughout the day.
(b) Daily Practice of Yogasana, Pranayam and Meditation for at least 30 minutes.
(c) Spices like Haldi, Jeera, dhaniya and Lahsun are recommended in cooking.
2- Ayurvedic Immunity Promoting Measure
(a) Take chyavanprash in the morning. Diabetics should take sugar free Chyavanprash.
(b) Drink herbal Tea like made from tulsi.
(c) Golden milk- half tea spoon haldi powder in 150ml milk once or twice a day.
3- Simple ayurvedic procedure-
(a) Nasual apllication- apply sesame oil / coconut oil or ghee in both the nostrils in morning and evening.
(b)Oil putting therapy- Take one spoon sesame oil or coconut oil in mouth. Do not drink, swish in mouth for 2 to 3 minutes and spit it off followed by warm water rinse.
4- During dry cough / sore throat-
(a) Stream inhalation with fresh Pudins leaves or Ajwain can be practiced once or twice a day.
(b) Lavang powder mixed with natural sugar / honey can be taken 2-3 times a day in case of cough or throat irritation.
